Cam2 speed record car 1975. Prepared by Roger Penske Enterprises Inc. and driven by Mark Donohue, this 917/30 featured more aerodynamic bodywork, twin turbochargers and twin intercoolers. The car achieved the closed course land speed record at Talladega Superspeedway with an average of 221.16 mph. This held until AJ Foyt exceeded this in 1978. Donohue's lap of 221.16 is still the official record for the Talladega track.
