Le Mans 24 Hours 1971. Car no. 23 - entered by Martini Racing Team - this one driven by Willi Kauhsen and Reinhold Jöst. The car was a bold experiment by the factory - trying to combine the strengths of both long and short tail variants. The car was painted pink and liveried with stylised butchers meat cuts - earning the nickname. The Pink Pig.
